Fujifilm X-T2 Review: A Timeless Classic
Thoughts on the Fujifilm X-T2, its classic design, and why it's still a great camera years after release.

The Fujifilm X-T2 is one of those rare cameras that seems to age like fine wine. While it may not have the absolute latest autofocus tracking algorithms or the highest resolution sensor compared to its newer siblings, it retains a distinct charm and functionality that makes it a joy to use.
Design and Ergonomics
What initially drew me to the X-T2, and what keeps me coming back, is the tactile experience. The physical dials for ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation mean that you can see and adjust your settings without ever turning the camera on. It’s a very deliberate way of shooting that forces you to slow down and think about the image.
Image Quality
The 24-megapixel X-Trans III sensor inside the X-T2 produces beautiful images with excellent color reproduction. Fujifilm’s film simulations—especially Classic Chrome and Acros—are simply stunning straight out of the camera. I often find myself doing very little post-processing because the JPEGs are already so good.
Conclusion
In a world where cameras are constantly being updated with new features, the Fujifilm X-T2 remains a reliable, inspiring, and capable photographic tool. It proves that a well-designed camera doesn’t become obsolete just because a newer model is released.
